Jeevan D’Mello, GDArch, CMCA, AMS, LSM, PCAM
Professionally trained as an Architect, Jeevan is the pioneer of the Community Management industry in the Middle East. He is popularly known as the ‘Father of Community Management in the Middle East’. In his career in Dubai, he setup the region’s biggest community association management company ‘Emaar Community Management LLC’, managing some 170 towers and 14,000 homes in some of the most iconic communities in the UAE and the tallest tower in the world, Burj Khalifa with assets of over USD 40 billion under management. Jeevan then setup ‘Nakheel Community Management LLC’ that is responsible for managing iconic master communities like the Palm Island, Jumeirah Islands, the Gardens, Discovery Gardens, Nad Al Sheba Villas, International City, Jumeirah Park, Jumeirah Village Triangle and Circle.
An author and a US-accredited and RERA-authorised lecturer, in 2008 he became the first certified Community Management professional in the region earning the CMCA, AMS, LSM and PCAM credentials. In 2011 he received the Community Association Institute's 'Rising Star Award' and in 2014 the prestigious 'President's Award' in the USA.
A regular on the
international speaking circuit, he has spoken in conferences and workshops
around the world including USA, Spain, Italy, San Marino, Colombia, Argentina,
Uruguay, Chile, Cuba, South Africa, India, Kazakhstan, Canada, Brazil, Bahrain
and the UAE.
Jeevan completed serving a 6-year term on the US-based Community Managers
International Certification Board (CAMICB). He now sits on the US-based
Community Associations Institutes’ (CAI) Board of Trustees as the first
international professional since the institute was established 45 years
ago. He also served as the inaugural President of CAI - Middle East. He
is the co-author of the bestselling book “Los Mejores Administradores de
Edificios del Mundo” on Real Estate Managers in the Spanish-speaking world
which was released globally in 2019.
